The digital marketing industry and especially SEO has gotten a bad wrap due to the unscrupulous business practices of some of its members. I am sure you have seen claims like Get Your Business Listed on the First Page of Google Within 90 Days Guaranteed. To be blunt, this is a load of crap. There are no guarantees in SEO or social media. There is no magic formula. Im sorry to disappoint you if you thought otherwise. I am not going to push a marketing package on you because that means I have not considered the individual needs for your organization. I am not going to try to sell you something you dont need. If I think that Twitter would be a waste of time for you (What!? No Twitter?!) then I am not going to sell you on it. Finally, if I dont think that my skill set is your best option then I wont take the job.
