To my amazing clients, it has always been about you. I'm here and invested in your story. Meeting you and getting to know you - even if it's just for an hour - means so much! I can offer you a comfortable atmosphere, artistic vision, and posing guidance if you're feeling a bit awkward. I aim to capture emotions, and spend time preparing before the shoot to nail down the location, poses, and overall mood of the shoot. I take this all so seriously because photography is an art and also an investment that you're making into it! My goal is to create a lasting relationship with you, your family, your spouse and all of the people that you share your photos with. I love meeting people and hearing their stories. Everyone is so different, where they got to now is so different. I also love to be able to support their event, engagement, marriage, family and career goals. It is a wonderful way to feel connected with people, while providing them with an invaluable service.

Chapin did an incredible job with our wedding. She was always easy to work with. She was very fast to respond to questions or concerns. The photos came back looking great, 2 weeks after the wedding as promised! She does well staging group photos and does really well at capturing candids.

We met Chapin to have some pictures of our beautiful baby girl Luna after we received some bad news about her health. Chapin was really respectful of our situation and was one of the few photographers who actually offered condolences for our situation. The pictures turned out absolutely beautiful and we will now have gorgeous pictures of our princess for years and years to come.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My quotes are based on the following three considerations: Time spent photographing/directing the shoot Time spent driving/gas mileage Time spent selecting photos + editing I offer a 10% discount for military, teachers and first responders.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For all sessions, I want to connect in person, over the phone or Skype so we can get warmed up to each other. I'll ask some questions about what you're looking for and solidify the session details so we are all on the same page!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide variety of clients, and I prefer to keep my work diverse! I have confidence in my photographing ability, so I don't limit myself to one particular area. So far, I have photographed: - family events - proposals - couples - maternity photoshoots - models - real estate agents - upcoming actors
