Ms. Warr has a beautiful sense of design. I have seen her make wedding gowns from the brides' vision, create accessories from recycled garments and whip together slip covers for a sofa. She works in a timely professional manor.

I've owned a very versatile sport coat for more years than I can remember. The coat was irreplacable. I had already returned a replacement purchase by the same designer to the store; as nothing new could compare with what I already owned. I sought an opportunity to repair rather than replace the item. It was frayed at the sleeves and the lining had been completely destroyed from years of use. I knew nothing, had had no previous exposure to Thumbtack. I simply googled tailors in my area, and saw an opportunity to inquire about the restoration of a favorite wardrobe piece. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are all different, since most of the projects I've been commissioned to do are unique.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to work with the individual needs, fabric and notion costs, time I'm given to complete the project, and get a deposit to cover the material costs. I need a minimum of 1 fitting, more with formalwear, and can provide a pattern for new designs at additional cost.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
