Introduction: I'm Macy Warr and I absolutely love what I do, and have been designing and sewing for over 40 years! I do women's tailoring (NOT MEN'S), specifically. My business is a passion and I also enjoy teaching others to sew. I also enjoy helping other designers by sketching their ideas and helping them with pattern making and sample pieces for development. I'm in southern MD, near Waldorf, about 45 minutes from DC and Alexandria, VA.

I loved working with Macy! She did a beautiful job on my alterations, which included several pieces. I lost a lot of weight and had some favorite pieces that I did not want to donate or give away. I am so excited that I get to wear them now, just like they were tailor made for me. Macy did an excellent, and I am so happy she was able to do my alterations!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get commissioned for everything from alterations to bridal gowns, from baby quilts to accessories. I DON'T alter men's suits.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles Moore College of Art, Philadelphia
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please allow 3 to 6 months for designing bridesmaids gowns, since bodies do change over time..
