Ms. Chambers is an excellent teacher in her field of expertise. She has been a florist for over 30 years and can teach you many skills from basic floral arrangements to wedding bouquets and more. She has helped me with many projects. I plan to continue working with her to help me build my skills and business. She is also an easy going person to get along with.

Claudette is wonderful to work with - she is personable and will go above and beyond to provide flowers that are beautiful and exactly to your liking. I had silk flowers for my wedding. She was flexible in working with my schedule and she made sure I was happy with the final product. She stayed within my budget and went out of her way to find a particular flower my fiancÃ© liked that was difficult to find. I had compliments on the centrepieces and bouquets she created. I have not hired her, and will be looking to go somewhere else. At first, she seemed really nice and not a bad response time. However, not once in our correspondence back and forth did she mention any extra charges. She suggested we meet to go over details and I agreed. I went into her home, she seems to know what she was doing. She told me she would send me an invoice with an estimate. When I received it, it also came with a letter telling me that I owed her a consultation fee. I'm sure she is a great florist and makes pretty arrangements, but to not mention once how there is a fee just seems unprofessional. I would have gladly paid it if she was upfront. But she wasn't which makes it so disingenuous and I will not be giving her my business. To be clear, I DID NOT have a problem with the amount that was charged, or with there being a service fee. My problem is with the fact that no fee was disclosed BEFORE our meeting. I am worried that further such surprise charges could appear in the future, and as such do not feel comfortable moving forward with Enchanted Unicorn.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to work within the wedding budget /each wedding is different so I go by what services /what designs /flowers are needed
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love for the customers to bring in their ideas /pictures and samples /wishes see if we can make those dreams come true with floral designs
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked at a number of floral shops /now I teach classes in floral design at the local college CCBC -25 years now including a wedding class.
