One thing that helps my work stand out from other artists is the final look is usually very subdued, even when bold colors are used on the eyes and lips. I like to make each client look and feel like they are wearing as little makeup as possible. I love connecting with people and helping them feel beautiful about themselves. That feeling is empowering and it transcends any of the foundations, eyeshadows, and lipsticks I could ever use.

Selita from Luxe Glamour did my nieces makeup for her prom and she looked gorgeous. My nieces requested smoky eyes and thats what she got. Selita was very professional. She even had her own chair for the client. My nieces could not stop smiling. She did such a great job that I want her to do my nieces makeup for her graduation. A+++ work.

Love. Love. Love. Ms. Selita was hired at the last minute as Makeup Artist for my mother. Selita came prepared and experienced. My mother was a little reluctant because she has sensitive skin and usually sticks to the same daily skin rituals but Ms. Selita made a believer out of HER. I was very impressed by her people skills and ability to transform my mom. I was extremely happy and amazed with her experience and professionalism. I hired Selita to do my daughters makeup for prom and she did a wonderful job. The entire experience was great, from my first contact with her she was very personable and very customer service oriented. She sent me pictures of her work I could tell she was very passionate about her work. I was really at ease and comfortable with my decision to hire her. She did an awesome job with my daughters makeup!!! I especially loved the eye detail she did a soft smokey look with lashes very elegant. She used good quality makeup and sterilized everything.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always looking online for product updates, trends, and for classes that are being taught. Education is important to me, I can always learn more and am always striving to grow and be better!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I did makeup for friends and family for free for such a long time. I realized that this is truly my calling and I needed to begin to invest in myself and do what was fulfilling. My professional journey began soon thereafter!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most commonly, I do a full face makeup application which includes highlighting, contouring, brow sculpting, and lashes.
