Introduction: I am a clinical counselor practicing in Bangor, providing individual counseling services to adults and young adults. Through my years working with a broad range of clients, issues and needs, I have learned the importance of recognizing and drawing upon each individual's unique strengths, experiences and ideas to help them develop a path for their future. I believe strongly that solutions to problems are out there in all of our lives, despite the many obstacles that may be placed in our way. Through counseling, I help individuals find their own unique paths around obstacles, such as personal and family stress, depression and anxiety, addictions, and trauma, so that they can achieve personal goals and greater emotional health and well-being. I have over sixteen years' experience in the mental health field, and have had training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and client-directed outcome informed (CDOI) counseling practices. I have experience working with a broad range of issues, including anxiety, PTSD/trauma, depression, addictions/co-occurring substance abuse, relationship problems, and other interpersonal problems.
