We love Pedro! My son has been seeing him for drum lessons on and off for a couple years now, starting at age 4. Our son was young, indeed, but Pedro took him on as a client regardless and catered his lessons to his age by using colors and shapes to help him learn to read music. Pedro has a fantastic sense of humor and a knack for keeping the kids having fun while also learning to play. In a World where it "takes a village", I am thankful that Pedro is part of ours. I feel strongly that it's important for children to have positive adult role models outside of the home [in addition to in the home] and that is exactly what Pedro is to my son. I am forever grateful for that.

Pedro is by far one of the best decisions I made for my kid. As a 6 year old, I was told that he was not capable of being taught drums, as he was too young. Thankfully, Pedro thought this was nonsense, and four years later, I'm happy to report that he was right.Through patience, a firm hand, persistency, and a love for music that he shared with my now 10-year old, he taught my kid everything from foundational drums all the way to Led Zeppelin. By the time Pedro left us here in Austin, my son was playing "Funky Drummer" by the James Brown Band and other Clyde Stubblefield beats.Pedro is an incredible musician and a talented teacher who makes your time with him fun and lighthearted, all while pushing you to be a better musician. We're huge fans of him over here, and our weekly lessons with him are greatly missed.Y'all are lucky to have him, Bangor! You won't be disappointed.

Pedro is a great teacher, who really helps you develop the skills you need and then encourages you to branch out and experiment! My favorite part of my lessons with him is when we jam out - I'll play one of the beats we're learning and he'll play along on the piano, which really gives you a good feel for what it's like to play in a band with other people! I would definitely recommend him to anybody looking to pick up drums and have fun doing it!

Pedro is a professional -- creative, knowledgeable, patient, encouraging -- he keeps track of everything. He talks directly to his students at whatever age or level of ability and tailors practices and rehearsals accordingly, while at the same time making it fun to learn. After 2.5 years, my 13 yr. has not only gained great experience but is still excited and interested in attending weekly lessons. I think that speaks volumes about his teacher.
