About
As a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors, I take the necessary time to thoroughly inspect your home so you can make a better decision. You can expect quick responses, open dialog, and a comprehensive report on the inspected property within 48 hours of the inspection. I look at each inspection the same way as I would if I were helping my sister buy a home. It's that important.
I enjoy helping people make a better life decision. Purchasing a home is one of the greatest financial decisions a person can make. Not rushing and digging deeper when things don't make sense make all the difference with a home inspection. How involved you are in the actual inspection is up to you. Sometimes, two people follow me around to learn about the property and other times I'm on my own. Parents and other interested parties are always welcome to join the inspection.

Matt has been extremely responsive for inspections. He is thorough, and takes his time to explain clearly any items of concern uncovered, as well as offer suggestions, and advice on the best ways to remedy. He has a great personality, and I really enjoy working with him, and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a homeinspection, radon testing, or water analysis. You will be extremely satisfied with what a great job he does.

Matt was very informative and explained everything he saw that could be a problem as he went over every nook and cranny of the house. He was very professional and friendly.

Nice guys - I got both them. I just thought they were automatically too positive about the unit, even though I hired them independently of the realtor.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most General Home Inspections fall into the same price, $425-$500. All homes that are under 2,000 sf are $450. The price will change when the home is larger, or when Radon Testing ($200) or Water Quality Testing ($200-$250) is added.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As home purchases are not everyday purchases, most of my Customers are first-time Customers. I allow them to be as involved in the inspection as they like and communicate what my findings are as the inspection progresses. My goal is to have no surprises in the written report, so my Customers can leave the inspection more informed to make a better decision.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm Certified with the National Association of Certified Home Inspections, a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and also Nationally Certified by AARST-NRPP, the national Radon Certification body. My father has been the greatest trainer who gave me the knowledge of the right way to build and manage homes.
