Question and answer

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. The upselling gimmicks that so many people use would be my first interest. Knowing how to determine the ability of a photographer for the project at hand would also be very important to me. A book could be written on what to look for and what to look out for when choosing a photographer.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Photography is a very creative, intimate view of a moment in time. My 30 years of experience and my trained eye makes my photography distinctive.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Preserving precious moments in time forever.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. The primary question I get is if I have room in my session calender to take on a new customer. Due to recent cutbacks in my writing schedule I am now able to take on more customers than I have been in the last several years.

Some customers question why a pro photographer is needed with today's digital cameras. My answer is always the same: experience, quality, and dependability. You only get one moment in time to capture. All elements of a photograph must come together flawlessly to change a snapshot into a masterpiece.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Too many to tell in the space allowed.
