Doug was very quick to contact me and give me a free estimate. He sanded and repainted my deck floor(288 sq ft)He was punctual (even came early), efficient, and helpful with suggestions. I would hire him again. Thanks, Doug.

I hired Doug to re-stain my back wooden deck (~275 sq ft) and small front stoop. He sanded off the old stain, cleaned up everything and applied two coats of the new stain, and it looks fabulous. He was on time, friendly, focused, careful and efficient. I couldn't ask for a better experience and will definitely hire him again for future projects.

We hired Doug to paint the exterior of our house. He was a joy to work with. Doug came out and gave us a free estimate on the work and cost. He consistently arrived early each day and went straight to the task. Doug used drop cloths to protect our plants and items around the house. Each day prior to leaving he made sure everything was cleaned up. The house looks great and he came in under cost and spot on for materials. If you need work done around you home I would highly recommend Doug!

It isn't very often you find a contractor who does what he says he will do, works diligently to get it done, delivers an excellent end product at a very fair price. Doug painted the whole exterior of our 4 bedroom cape this fall. He shows up everyday it possible to work, gets right to it and as previous reviews state literally whistles while he works. He seems to enjoy what he does as it shows he and is a true craftsman. Will be using Doug to maintain this beauty.

We totally hit the jackpot on this one! Doug painted the interior of our house. He lets you know how you can save money and is cognizant of working within a budget.
He is professional and has an amazing work ethic. Charging by the hour worked best for us and he is a fast worker; he does not goof off at all.
He will work the hours you tell him. In our case, we leave at 6:45AM, so he was there by 6:30AM every morning, without fail, and would leave when my husband got home, so he never made it uncomfortable for us.
He literally whistles while he works - he is so pleasant! We found the quality of his work to be excellent - he knows his trade and does it very well. He also does minor carpentry work and did a good job with the tasks we asked of him (repairing some drywall).
I highly recommend Doug - you won't be sorry. He's very trustworthy (we left him alone in our house for three weeks) and you can count on the end result being exactly what you want. We barely recognize our house, it looks so nice inside now!
We would absolutely hire him again! Thumbtack is a great way to find the person you need to get the job done right.
