We hired Doug to paint the exterior of our house. He was a joy to work with. Doug came out and gave us a free estimate on the work and cost. He consistently arrived early each day and went straight to the task. Doug used drop cloths to protect our plants and items around the house. Each day prior to leaving he made sure everything was cleaned up. The house looks great and he came in under cost and spot on for materials. If you need work done around you home I would highly recommend Doug!

It isn't very often you find a contractor who does what he says he will do, works diligently to get it done, delivers an excellent end product at a very fair price. Doug painted the whole exterior of our 4 bedroom cape this fall. He shows up everyday it possible to work, gets right to it and as previous reviews state literally whistles while he works. He seems to enjoy what he does as it shows he and is a true craftsman. Will be using Doug to maintain this beauty.

My husband and I recently bought a house in Bath, ME and we hired Doug to paint the entire interior. He met with us before beginning the project, and we immediately knew that he was a detail-oriented professional who takes pride on doing a good job. He has just completed the project (well within the timeline he promised), and he did a fantastic job. The house looks beautiful. It was built in 1842, so the walls and in some instances the ceilings have extraneous bumps, nicks, etc and he took care of all cosmetic issues. He also stripped wallpaper in three rooms. He is a self-starter who without us asking offered to remove window air conditioners and put them in the garage and he also fixed a small leak. He is very neat and conscientious, and his prices were very reasonable. We will definitely use him again.
