FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
95% of my project pricing is done by the square or lineal foot. That averages out to around $60.00 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually a new customer will contact me about a project the are interested in having done. Then we schedule a meeting so I can thoroughly inspect the project and go over the customers needs. If the customer accepts my proposal, we then work out the details, as plumbing, electrical, and who is responsible for materials and such. I explain to them the process and timeline, and we sign the contract.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 28 years of experience in the woodworking industry. I've worked with engineers to learn weight distribution and load bearing capacities. I was trained under my father who is master carpenter doing frame to finish. I have 15 years experience in custom woodworking, furniture making, and installing tile. I earned my degree in automotive technology, as automobiles are a passion of mine. I brought from that organization skills, and even more of an attention to detail.
