This was our first time in Maine, and I reached out to Jack for a surprise proposal. He was really helpful throughout the planning, especially with figuring out good spots for the shot, where to avoid the fence, and how to work around the crowds. I planned to propose at sunrise by the Portland Head Light, which was a challenging task since the timing, weather, angle, and lighting had to be just right. There were a lot of things that could have gone wrong (we did have to change the plan due to foggy weather), but Jack handled it really well and made the whole thing feel easy. I am happy he did a great job capturing our happy moments. The photos turned out amazing. Really appreciate all the help, Jack!

Jack was so great to work with to capture our surprise proposal! We are not from the area so he was incredibly helpful with sunset times, tide level, and chose the absolute PERFECT spot for me to get down on one knee to frame the photo. He made the process incredibly easy and definitely helped calm my nerves, especially leading up to the day of the proposal. His turnaround for sending us the albums of both the surprise and the follow up posed photos was quick, and the quality was incredible. I would highly recommend him, and would use him again if I needed photos up in Maine again!

My prices are customized to fit your needs and exceed expectations. All imagery is edited and delivered to you which gives you multiple options for your usage.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Comfort is key. My style is not rigid by any means. I like to hear what the clients are thinking and collaborate ideas to achieve something special!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Received a Batchelor of Fine Arts from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and have been an active photographer for over 30 years.
