I am certified by two national organizations, and have been doing home inspections full-time for 16 years. My $225.00 general inspection includes free pest inspection, chimney inspection, visual mold inspection, and water collection (you just pay the water lab fees with my discount). You just saved $200.00 to $500.00. If you want an inspector who provides honesty, integrity, and great value, as well as being able to answer all of your questions, you found the right guy! I am certified and insured. Many inspectors are not! Beware because Maine has no licensing or insurance requirements. Certified inspectors are your best choices in Maine, and one that has invested the time and sat for all of the exams to be certified by two different organizations (like me) is an even better choice! Whether you hire me or not, protect yourself by only hiring a certified and insured inspector because if they don't care enough to reach for more education, study, and pass the exams, they probably don't care that much about protecting you either! I provide inspections for as low as $225.00.
