Hello and thank you first and foremost for taking your valuable time to consider us for your project needs. Our goal is to provide you with not only top quality craftsmanship but also our knowledge in the planning stages of your project. We firmly believe that quality craftsmanship should never be compromised. We started out in 2001. I’ve been in the carpentry field for 36 yrs. and could not imagine doing anything else for a living. We do all phases of construction and building. We sub out electrical, plumbing, drywall, concrete and painting. We personally do all carpentry, doors, windows, siding and roofing. Richard and crew helper were great! I would use him again for another project. Garage was in danger of falling over and we discussed and he offered a workable solution in no time. He was patient, punctual and a pleasure to work with. While it was a small job, he did a good job and within the timeline a budget we discussed. Thank you Richard!!

This guy is GREAT! He arrived at our home and was very professional and honest about what we needed done and could have charged us for a lot of things, but he didn't'. That is refreshing! I had not met or known him before yesterday but if you need work done get a hold of this guy he's AWESOME! We sincerely appreciate what he did for us!

I am in the process of selling my house and was under pressure for possibly needing a roof estimate or even repairs quickly. I contacted Sylvard Builders and someone contacted me very quickly inquiring about the needs I had. In just a few short minutes I had an appointment to get an estimate on my roof. They were very helpful and friendly. I didn't end up needing the service, but they were understanding. If I have a need for roofing services in the future I will be contacting them again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are in accordance to each project’s needs. Some are based by lineal foot,square foot, by the hour and by the project .
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At initial contact we decide on a convenient time for a on site consultation. Then the customer receives a written estimate and proposal. If excepted they receive a written thorough contract. After contractual agreement we sign and they get locked into the schedule for work to be performed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My father is a brick/stone mason. I’ve worked with him from a very young age. Then I joined the Army my mos was 51 Bravo carpentry/masonry. I’ve been doing it since. I’d say hands on for 36 years.
