FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
One in my field doesnt have a degree or license that is available. Most of the education in this field boils down to experience. Reading and staying informed on MSDS Chemical knowledge is the most important knowledge that is required. Working with a hospital or hospice is a good way to learn to clean in a medical grade standard. Not only chemical knowledge is important however.. Knowing alternative products that are equally as good but environmentally friendly are vital. You dont want a person using strong chemicals around elderly or ashmatics. Vapors and gases are not healthy for their lungs! Self educated is where its at.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do a lot of routine maintainence cleaning. Spring/Fall cleaning, as well as windows. Many of my projects are organizing closets, construction cleans, and laundry.. (All projects are individually priced) I am very budget friendly and do all I can to assure my clients are happy :)
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My biggest advice is to make sure you have prepared ypur home for me to go in and clean your surfaces. Deep cleans and routine surface cleaning is something best done with no clutter around. Make sure you have specialty cleaners for grout/tile..and be sure your stained grout can be cleaned and SEALED..follow routine maintainence schedule for specialty floors and DONT SHAMPOO your carpets.. you are asking for mold and mildew to infest your home..Steam is the best option as it kills germs on contact and reduces the amount of water in your carpet and most importantly, the carpet pad and subfloor!
