- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll start with a brief phone consultation to get to know you and your goals. During this session, we’ll discuss your musical interests, experience level, and what you hope to achieve through lessons. It’s also a chance to find a weekly lesson time that fits perfectly with your schedule. Our goal is to make the entire process as smooth and convenient as possible, ensuring you get started with the right plan to reach your musical goals. Our approach to teaching music is to use the songs that the student enjoys listening to, and get them playing something they can recognize as soon as possible. This goes a long way to keep them motivated and excited. With younger students, we encourage them to learn to read music as well. It's a valuable skill to develop should they decide to play in the school band or orchestra in the future, and if nothing else, it has plenty of cognitive benefits!
