We hired James and his team at D & D Construction to gut and replace floors, walls, and ceilings in a bedroom that had sustained water damage from a burst pipe, and they were excellent! High quality, communicative/responsive, easy to work with, and all at a fair, competitive value for the area. Their tidiness and clean-up of the job site didn’t go unnoticed either. Thank you so much!

We moved back to Maine after being away for 17 years and we were living in Montana at the time. The housing market was absolutely crazy when we purchased and did not have time to fly back and look at the house because homes were selling in a day with multiple bids. We bought this home site unseen except for a quick FaceTime with the realtor. According to her the garage had some cracks in the floor. As soon as we moved back from Montana and I saw the cracks in the floor firsthand, I had a feeling something major was going on. I called three contractors and none of them would even come look at it because of there work loads. I found James on Thumbtack and he was a god send. He came within a week to look at the problem and within 3 to 4 weeks the entire old garage floor was gone and a new one was put in. I have multiple projects I need done and I won’t look for anyone other than James and his crew to do them. A true professional.

James and his team were great to work with. He did renovations to our new "snowbird" home, and with us being out of state we relied on him to communicate any problems and give us updates along the way. He was kind, patient and responsive, he sent me pictures of progress. There was a lot of work to do, and he made sure to stay on budget and gave us fantastic results! There was some of everything, including plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring, structural, and he was able to get subs in, which isn't easy to do in Maine. Would not hesitate to recommend.

James and Jesse did an exceptional job installing our mixed width pine hardwood floors. There were both very skilled, responsive and accommodating whenever I gave feedback, and the floors came out beyond my expectations, They took their time, hammering each square nail by hand using a template they had made. I am definitely going to hire them again for some more work around our house. I highly recommend!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience than we had with D&D Constuction Group. From start to finish they were professional, knowledgeable, kind, reliable, and trustworthy.
They worked on everything from our metal roof, to cupboards, interior and exterior paint, drywall repair, some plumbing, and gutter and gutter guard installation. (So nice to have a dry walkway again and no gutter cleaning!) Every single job was done incredibly well and thoroughly. When they left our place, it looked cleaner than it did when they got there! We didn’t hesitate to ask them back for our bathroom remodel and fence installation.
Highly recommend!
