Not what we had hoped for... We had the food delivered for 12 guests...apps were not prepared, a few of the dishes were dried out, others were bland, we ordered a sheet cake with Happy Birthday & Happy Retirement written on it, but we received 2 small (grocery store style) cakes, plastic plates were provided, but napkins & silverware were not - this dinner was disappointing and embrassing. I wish we had chosen the other chef, both quoted $1,000.

I was searching for a caterer for my daughter’s wedding and I came across Ballroom Catering. I researched the website and like what I saw. I contacted Leslie, who got back to me right away. After speaking with her I knew I found the right caterer. Leslie is friendly and down to earth. Her goal is to make the best food at the best price for her clients. She is upfront with the cost and listens to her clients needs. She answers all your questions in a timely manner. We were planning the wedding in four months and Leslie was very accommodating and we were able to set up taste testing. I think the best way to describe her food is very comforting with elevated flavors. We started with chowder and soup and then went to appetizers (hot and cold), they were beautifully displayed and then great dessert to end a great food experience. Everyone loved the food and commented on how they liked starting with the soup and chowder. Angelina and Rachel were very friendly and professional. They did a great job with the displays and keeping the tables stocked with tasty bites. I would not hesitate to choose Leslie and her team at Ballroom Catering again.

My review is over a year late, but I will never forget the incredible service Leslie and her team provided.
I will never forget the endless comments full of praise and admiration from our guests. I will never forget how Leslie made planning my daughter's wedding so much easier for me. I will never forget her sweet personality and caring ways. I will never forget her and her team working so hard and tirelessly. I will never forget how much she did to make this wedding reception so special. She served delicious and hot food, that was plentiful and full of variety. She satisfied my daughter's particular requests and our demanding budget. She went above and beyond the call of duty, excelling in every aspect of her service.
I will never forget the difference she made for me personally, by taking the burden of catering off my shoulders; nor will I forget the difference she made for each of our guests, insuring they had a very satisfying experience. I would never hesitate to hire her again; I only wish I she lived closer to our neck of the woods, so I could! At the same time, I would never hesitate to recommend her to anyone! She communicated well, left the place cleaner than she found it, and never was anything less than professional. I would have paid her twice the price, if I could have. I'm not exaggerating. She was a dream come true.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am serve safe certified. I keep my certification current. I also am constantly learning new recipes and creating new menu options to keep up with the latest wedding and event trends. I also am an excellent shopper, which means that I can buy ingredients at a much lower cost than others in my field. These savings are reflected in my affordable menu pricing.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
A passion for cooking and serving food, as well as my ability to organize and manage events, is something I was just born with. It just comes naturally to me. I have spent years learning and honing the skills I need to offer these services and continue to learn and expand my knowledge and expertise, but it all started with a seed, an enthusiasm and a love of making people happy through food.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my event are weddings. I do also service birthday parties, anniversary parties, baby and bridal showers, reunions and kids fun fairs too.
