- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 2 years of culinary training at the Penobscot Job Corps Academy. 2 years of training at the Culinary Institute of America.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I developed an interest in the culinary arts in high school after taking a food and nutrition class. Followed up a trade school for 2 years where I compete in multiple competitions on the local and state levels. After about 4 years of cooking on the coast of Maine I applied and got accepted to the Culinary Institute of America. I did some traveling and eventually settled back in Maine where I continue to cook in restaurants, cater, and instruct small groups of people looking to further their culinary knowledge.
