Project was simple enough (for a professional): remove old deck and rotten wood from both balconies from a third-floor condo and install composite everywhere! Greg made it very simple for us, asking questions and taking into account our requirements. He proposed several models and showed us a few samples to give us a better idea. Every step was taken with his professional opinion in mind. He actually made it very easy for us: by email, SMS, phone calls, there wasn't a day without a back and forth conversation and Greg always made himself available. Once decided, we didn't have to wait long to receive a quote which was really reasonable. It took a total of four days for his team (his brother was also part of it) to beat the rain and finish both decks on time.
Result is fantastic! Greg really nailed it and my wife and I deeply thank him for the great outcome. He also scheduled a meeting with another person to have an awning installed (in progress). Soon enough, the whole family will be able to enjoy both decks for the rest of the summer, not feeling ashamed of the state of advanced decomposition in which they were before. Instead, we are now the proud owners of two beautiful balconies, thanks to him. Not to mention that they are now splinter-free, which makes it safer for our kids.
I wouldn't question Greg's professionalism for one second. He stands by his work and asks for feedback, which demonstrates the seriousness of his business. Combine this quality with great communication skills, you have here the perfect guy for the job. By the way, the condo association is currently working on a plan to have him come over and fix our window frames and trims. Once you find your carpenter, you don't want to let him go, do you?

Working with Greg was an ease from the start. My husband and I decided last minute to take on a deck renovation. Greg came and measured our existing deck structure and walked me through his recommendations including types of composite materials currently on the market. He was prompt to respond, gave a detailed quote with options within our budget and delivered in the agreed timeframe. He even found a way to save us a few extra dollars on materials by making a change in the flooring pattern. Not only was it a savings he passed onto us, but also has a more finished look.
Greg and his team were very professional and I highly recommend choosing GTC if you are looking to build or upgrade an existing deck! A big thank you to the team.

We hired Greg to demo existing and install a new kitchen floor when our existing contractor failed to meet a critical deadline that would have thrown off the rest of our project sequencing. Within 2 days of posting the ad on Thumbtack, Greg visited our home, provided a VERY reasonable quote, and agreed to begin work the following Monday, which is what we desperately needed! To say that Greg was professional and responsive would be a gross understatement. In fact, we never even spoke on the phone -- almost all communication was done via text and email (we were away when this all happened!). He was prompt, courteous, BEYOND EASY to work with, and all-in-all a total pro!! His team was respectful and trustworthy, and our floors look gorgeous. If I could give him 6 stars, I would!! :-)

Greg and his team were awesome and I highly recommend working with them. Throughout the process, Greg was incredibly responsive over text and email, and gave a detailed estimate with various options. Greg and his team ripped out our old basement stairs that were falling apart and replaced them with a new set that's much sturdier. They came in and did the job in a day and we're very happy with the end result. Him and his team were super professional, arrived on-time, were courteous, and did a great job. We're now working with Greg to replace our exterior front door and are having a similarly positive experience.
