Introduction: Hi! My name is Crystal McKenna and I am a wedding officiant and ordained minister located in Southern Maine. I perform weddings in Maine solely. I am also a former Town Clerk so I am well versed in the entire process from obtaining a marriage license to the big day and the follow up process after. I officiate all types of wedding ceremonies. I write the wedding ceremony scripts to include your vision and ideas. I love to meet the couples to discuss their big day and I am reasonable on my rates. I put my clients first and keep them nervous free on their day of ceremony. Once the ceremony is done, I take care of the license and filing with the clerks office where you obtained your license from. I truly look forward to working with you to take YOUR vision and make it a reality on your special day.

Crystal was exactly what we were looking for in an officiant! She was very easy to communicate with and very much happy to follow your lead. We had a tiny wedding and she made it so special. The words she prepared were perfect and her warmth was a wonderful addition to our day.

We could not have asked for a better wedding officiant. Crystal was exactly what we needed. We had a small (15 person) wedding on the beach on a cold windy day. We had two phone calls prior the wedding day. Crystal really got to know us over the phone making it feel like a very personal ceremony. She really cared about us. She even helped us pick out our exact location for the beach wedding, and gave a great recommendation for our photographer. The day of she showed up early and was ready to go. She helped me make a few last minute decisions for the setup. Most importantly she helped me stay relaxed up until my wife was walking down the isle. The ceremony was beautiful. Simple and elegant. She incorporated and poem that fit us as a couple perfectly. She braved the cold and the wind like champ and was able to go with the flow when my dog was cheering us on (barking uncontrollably). Overall it was a great wedding, small and casual yet a day I'll never forget. Thank you Crystal!

Crystal was absolutely AMAZING from our 1st conversation to our ceremony! Crystal was a complete professional that felt like family because of who she is as a person. This wasn't just my feelings but all the attended our wedding. On such a special day she helped make a crazy and hectic time peaceful. Crystal was a dream to work with, she met our every need and over delivered with how great she made our day! We had a small wedding elopement ceremony on the beach, she worked with us through all the details, took wonderful photos and made our micro marriage very intimate and special! Prices are based on your unique ceremony needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always make sure to have contact with both parties throughout the whole process. We will always talk as a group about your vision, wants, needs and hopes for your wedding. I like to be up front and honest about what I do, what I bring to the table and how I execute for you in your big day. I go over procession, vow writing etc. I am always available to talk about major decisions or chit chat over nervous butterflies. I am here for YOU!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ordained minister as well as a former Town Clerk. I am well versed in the whole process from obtaining your license, writing vows (or I can write them for you) to completion of all paperwork.
