I’m still thinking about how magical this night was. We hired Chef Zeke as a private chef for my sister’s bachelorette party at my family’s lake house in Michigan, and somehow it turned into one of the most special, meaningful evenings that we will remember forever. From the moment he arrived, Chef Zeke brought such a warm, calm, and professional presence. He made everything feel effortless, while still making each of us feel genuinely special and taken care of. There was such an attention to detail in everything he did—from the way he prepared each dish to how he interacted with our group—it never felt transactional, it felt personal. The food wasn’t just incredible (though it truly was)—it was thoughtful, beautifully presented, and somehow perfectly matched the energy of the night. Every course felt like it was made just for her, for us, for this moment in time. He took the time to explain each dish, answer our questions, and made us feel like we were part of the experience rather than just guests. What really stayed with me, though, was how it brought everyone together. We were laughing, telling stories, reminiscing, and just soaking in being together in such a peaceful, beautiful place. It’s rare to have an experience where everything slows down and you realize, in real time, “this is something we’ll never forget.” My sister was glowing, the lake was calm, the sunset felt like it was showing off just for us—and the entire evening felt effortless in the best possible way. Chef Zeke is the best. He over delivered. The food, especially the brisket, beans, potatoes and stuffed mushrooms were outstanding. Everyone at our party wanted his recipes. Zeke was responsive to our requests and his timing was spot on. He and Tiffany left our place spotless. They were a pleasure to work with. I would hire Chef Zeke again.
