- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Lana not only attends the annual Family Law Institute, but she also teaches other attorneys.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Lana became a family attorney after being influenced by her mentors Justice Kelley and Judge O'Brien. She worked also for Judge Francis (now Wheeler) and enjoys practicing in Washtenaw County. Currently, Judge Carol Kuhnke, Judge Timothy Connors, Judge Julia Owdziej and Judge Archie Brown handle family matters in Washtenaw County, where Lana mostly works. She also works in other counties such as Lenawee, Livingston, Jackson, Wayne, Genesee, Monroe, Ingham, and Macomb
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Lana is proud of recently helping a father get primary custody of his child, and a mother get primary custody of her children.
