How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was chosen by my teachers and entrusted with large groups of people and difficult health cases to teach, teachers to train and mentor, international seminars to organize, teacher manuals to write and publish and more.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Private yoga therapy and stress reduction meditation clients, people managing various health conditions, or seeking personal growth, clients taking our Teacher Certification RYT200 and RYT500 programs, beginners/continuing students in classes and 3-Day Retreats, corporate clients, executives, non-profits, University of Michigan, hospitals.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
This week I taught and enjoyed working with University of Michigan Medical School Students. Holistic Yoga Therapy and Meditation I teach has been part of UM Medical School Integrative Medicine class for years.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Whether a beginner or a seasoned practitioner, one will benefit the most when working with an experienced ideally traditionally trained yoga meditation teacher. who should be able to take care, educate and nurture your whole person. Popular yoga culture teacher training is random and basic at best.
