What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to assemble the entire necessary scope of services prior to bidding and then provide a lump sum pricing scheme or "hourly not to exceed". This keeps things simple for all concerned and prohibits unexpected "extras" at the end of the job.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been drafting since a I was a high school co-op. I showed a particular talent for not only the technical aspect but also the artistic side of drawing.
