About this pro
Stephanie was great! I was all anxious, expecting to have to sit down and talk and come up with some kind of plan (probably because that's what I would normally do and then not follow through). Nope! She said "where do you want to start?" And we got right into purging, sorting, and setting stuff aside for donating and now 2/3 of my house is presentable and almost clutter free. I needed an impartial party to help get my butt in gear, and we got so much done in just three hours. I'm enjoying the cleansing feeling of getting rid of so much stuff. I don't have before and after photos, but the difference is impressive.Jul 6, 2018Verified
Stephanie and Scott did a wonderful job of cleaning my attic. Here is the "after" picture. "Before" was a crowded, dusty mess.Sep 16, 2017VerifiedDonald K.'s reply
Sean, We are glad that you are pleased with our work. We are also very humbled. If you need more help in the future please call us.
Don and his team helped us clean and organize our basement - we had a whole lotta toys and and old clothes that needed to go, but every time we tried to start, we became very overwhelmed. I didn't believe them when they said they'd get it done in 7 hours, but they did! They're enthusiastic and fun to work with, I never dreamed this could go so well or be so easy. Sometimes you just need a kick in the butt to get going! I cannot say enough great things about these people. Not only did they clear out our stuff, they organized it, cleaned up and set up our new room. We are thrilled. Hire them, you will be too!Oct 13, 2016Verified
Truck broke down, and had to towed. In the meantime, my sofa was waiting to be picked up. A Good Samaritan steped in to hep. He helped push broken down truck to side of the road while awaiting a tow. Then he finished the job that hoarding Michigan failed to do. #goodsamaritan.Jul 4, 2018VerifiedDonald K.'s reply
Hi Marlene, Thank you leaving us a review! I kept in touch with you as I was trying to find someone to finish the project for us . The same Samartian that helped you, helped me at the time of need. He was able to help th project finish in the time specified. It doesn't how it got done, it just matters how we wer able to complete. Glory to God. I feel that you shouldn't judge us like that. And remember, we didn't charge you a dime. Did the Good Samaritian charge you?
These guys did an excellent job. I was overwhelmed with not fully unpacking after a move and a desperate need for organization. They treated me with dignity and was respectful of my home. They helped me purge so much stuff that just needed to go! I would suggest them 100% to anyone needing help.Apr 23, 2018VerifiedDonald K.'s reply
Hi Sheila, Thank you so much for working with our team. Your goal is what is important to us. I think we are coming back in a couple weeks to help with a few additional projects. I look forward to it. Don

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing is kind of difficult until we see the actual project at hand. Basic organization is $ 40 an hour, usually leads into something more. Straight clean outs normally start at $2500.00 and comprehensive hoarding clean outs are priced based on project and need.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? In working with a new client, I want to understand what is going on in their life. Maybe it is just an organizing situation, or maybe wanting to rid themselves of a bunch of discards they do not want anymore. We also work with hoarding clients where I try to get to the root of the problem.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been in the helps business all of my life. Usually people wouldn't want to come to me because I have never worked in anything that you want; it is what you need. I worked as an aftercare counselor and preplanning in the funeral business which was the most rewarding job of my life.
