Introduction: I specialize in Wedding, Portraiture and Commercial photography. My work has been published in multiple magazines and books. For example, I have been published by Photographers Forum Magazine for Best Photography of 2013, 2014 and now 2015. Besides being a photographer, I am an Artist and a Product Design Engineer. I wanted a pro to take pictures of my teenage daughter in efforts to build up her self-esteem due to bullying situation with other kids that were bringing her mentally down. I had no idea what to expect, but as a mother, I only knew that I wanted my daughter to see just how beautiful she really was and thought a few nice pictures may help with that. So I hired Sherri for a teen glamour session and she helped me with suggestions as to what kind of clothes, colors, hair style and makeup for the photoshoot which was a big help so that we would be prepared. I am grateful to Sherri for creating a fun experience and lasting memories for both myself and my daughter. Sherri went above and beyond my expectations as to how a photo shoot should goshe actually really cared how my daughter felt and looked during the session and was very understanding and patient when it came to dealing with a teenager and the insecurities that seem to drag along with them. We received our edited pictures to see on a website by one week and we were super excited as to the clarity and quality of them. We even ordered a keepsake photo album from Sherri with pictures from the photo shoot that we absolutely love! I highly recommend Sherri to anyone who wants quality pictures and a fun experience.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The internet and books is where I get most of my information. I am a self-taught photographer and artist. I have been taking pictures for over 20 years. One of my HS senior portraits was chosen to be published in the Photographer's Forum Magazines "Best of 2013 Photography" Book...which I was very excited about because only 14% were selected from over 10,000 entries from 73 countries.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I LOVE to photograph people and make them feel special after viewing the final images! I have had 100% success with customer satisfaction so far, which I am very proud of...this job does not pay well by the time you add all time and expenses up...you have to really like what you do "to do it".
