I specialize in Wedding, Portraiture and Commercial photography. My work has been published in multiple magazines and books. For example, I have been published by Photographers Forum Magazine for Best Photography of 2013, 2014 and now 2015. Besides being a photographer, I am an Artist and a Product Design Engineer. I have been told by many how they admire my focus and dedication in efforts to capture the best possible images that compliment each client's unique style and personality. I have a passion for the art of photography The creativity and thought process it takes to make a photo happen. I am a Realtor in the mid-west area of Michigan, and I had been in search of an experienced, professional photographer to shoot pictures for the cover and spread of a magazine article that I was the featured agent in. Sherri did a great job with our in-home photos. My almost 2 year old had many cranky moments from her cold during our session and she was way more interested in looking at Sherri's camera than sitting for the shots. That being said we still got some keeper! She was patient and kind to our crazy uncooperative family.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The internet and books is where I get most of my information. I am a self-taught photographer and artist. I have been taking pictures for over 20 years. One of my HS senior portraits was chosen to be published in the Photographer's Forum Magazines "Best of 2013 Photography" Book...which I was very excited about because only 14% were selected from over 10,000 entries from 73 countries.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I LOVE to photograph people and make them feel special after viewing the final images! I have had 100% success with customer satisfaction so far, which I am very proud of...this job does not pay well by the time you add all time and expenses up...you have to really like what you do "to do it".
What types of customers have you worked with?
Outdoor Lifestyle Photography and Indoor Studio Modern Portraits for High School Seniors, Model/Actor Portfolios, Newborns, Weddings, Boudoir, Websites, Commercial photography, Product promotions, event photography and more.
