We are a boutique caterer & personal chef service. All of our chefs strive for perfection in the food we buy, to the way we present it. This site charges us professionals upwards of $75 just to send you a quote. This will be passed on to you, but you can avoid this by searching us on Google We keep adding new services to compliment our core service, which is cooking great food for clients who appreciate the finer things in life. Our latest service is offering a "Live Kitchen" at Weddings, Graduations, Corporate catering & larger events. We bring everything you would see in a restaurant kitchen, and cook in front of your guests. We always make bread from scratch, and we are only governed by your imagination. If you can think it, Chef Mike & his team will make it happen. I have had a very Privileged past. I've cooked for many Celebrities and even Royalty. The best part of my job is meeting a wide diverse selection of the general population. I love to see people's reactions to what I have created for them.

We ordered a simple lunch for our event--sandwiches, chips, and cookies, but the lunch definitely exceeded my expectations. sandwiches were served on fresh-baked bread, the cookies were baked, not yucky store-bought, the presentation of the food was appealing. We were really pleased and would definitely use the Freelance Chef again. Try them, you will not be disappointed!

We were absolutely delighted with the services that the Freelance Chef had offered and executed with excellence for my wife’s 50th birthday celebration on the 1st of April, 2016. At our request, he was very happy to expedite and prepare a number of her favorite dishes to help celebrate the occasion for an intimate dinner party of ten. He promptly arrived early enough on the evening to bake fresh bread, butcher ducks to make an outstanding Duck Confit served with a port wine reduction to compliment a rich and delicious porcini risotto on the side. He welcomed our guests with a warm introduction to his services and started the evening with a culinary tour that was outstanding and tantalizing. The evening started with a birthday toast of tequila oyster shooters to set the tone of party, followed by crab cakes on a toasted brioche bun and spicy Asian style scallops served in Chinese soup spoons to keep the event social and merry. His food and was a great talking point for all, especially, my wife who was an ex-restaurateur, and our guest loved. He was well prepared, and made the night a special one to remember with his delicious flavors and attention to detail. We would not hesitate to endorse or use the Chef’s services in the future. He made my wife extremely happy and even cleaned up his station with edible left overs. Thank you Chef ……. you met my expectations and beyond!!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I spent four years at College in London. I spent four years training at the same time and place as Gordon Ramsey. We both were put through our paces to see if we would hold up to the riggers of working in a five star Hotel, Restaurant, and extensive banqueting operation.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    First of all, Do not be scared to ask questions. A professional will take the time to better understand exactly what you are looking for. Ask if your chef will visit you to allow you and them feel at ease.
