Introduction: We are a boutique caterer & personal chef service. All of our chefs strive for perfection in the food we buy, to the way we present it. This site charges us professionals upwards of $75 just to send you a quote. This will be passed on to you, but you can avoid this by searching us on Google We keep adding new services to compliment our core service, which is cooking great food for clients who appreciate the finer things in life. Our latest service is offering a "Live Kitchen" at Weddings, Graduations, Corporate catering & larger events. We bring everything you would see in a restaurant kitchen, and cook in front of your guests. We always make bread from scratch, and we are only governed by your imagination. If you can think it, Chef Mike & his team will make it happen. I have had a very Privileged past. I've cooked for many Celebrities and even Royalty. The best part of my job is meeting a wide diverse selection of the general population. I love to see people's reactions to what I have created for them.

We really enjoyed Chef! He prepared food for our wedding at our home and it was wonderful. We received rave reviews from all of our guests regarding how great the food/selection was. We served heavy appetizers as the wedding was more of a cocktail party. He is very talented and personable and a joy to work with. We will definitely choose him again

We hired Michael for our daughter’s graduation party. I can’t begin to say enough good things about our experience. From the very beginning Michael was responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He helped us plan the food and setup for the party with many good suggestions and made us feel at ease about the party. There were some unexpected events that came up just prior to our party but Michael and team overcame them and catered our party beautifully - such a dependable team!! The food was fantastic and they made the best egg drop soup I have ever tasted. I highly recommend the Freelance Chef!

Michael Jay did an outstanding job of creating an original menu for our wedding. He always replied promptly to any and all questions and concerns that we had. The day of, Michael and staff delivered tray after tray of delicious food. I'm still hearing stellar reviews from guests.

We ordered a simple lunch for our event--sandwiches, chips, and cookies, but the lunch definitely exceeded my expectations. sandwiches were served on fresh-baked bread, the cookies were baked, not yucky store-bought, the presentation of the food was appealing. We were really pleased and would definitely use the Freelance Chef again. Try them, you will not be disappointed!

We are so pleased with the party chef and catering services provided for our Halloween Party. We gave him a budget and a couple of ideas, he created the whole menu; which the guests raved about! His staff was eager to help, responsive to requests, quick to help in any way. They provided bat service, food service and brought their kitchen on wheels to give us and our guests an amazing evening of food, drink and added niceties. Thank you for a great party evening!   • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I spent four years at College in London. I spent four years training at the same time and place as Gordon Ramsey. We both were put through our paces to see if we would hold up to the riggers of working in a five star Hotel, Restaurant, and extensive banqueting operation.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    First of all, Do not be scared to ask questions. A professional will take the time to better understand exactly what you are looking for. Ask if your chef will visit you to allow you and them feel at ease.
