We prefer to look for the small moments and the real expressions and relationships between people. We find that a lot of photography is very posed and, as a result, seems stiff and uncomfortable. We much prefer to get you laughing or playing or just hanging out so that the images you get capture the real you. Seeing people who are happy. It sounds silly, but most often people who seek out a photographer have just gone through (or are about to go through) something amazing--getting engaged, having a baby, graduating--and those amazing life events make people glow in a way that no other things can. It's a joy to get to share in their happiness in these moments.

Alisha did a great job with our engagement photos!! We booked her for 2 hours and she stayed for 3. She was cheerful and fun to work with and she took some great photos. We ended up with dozens of high quality pictures of great variety. I would definitely hire Alisha again.

Alisha was hired to photograph our wedding in September and from start to finish, her professionalism and quality of service was outstanding. We spent hours searching for the right photographer and each and every time, Alisha came out on top. Not only are her prices very reasonable, but she she was genuinely interested in photographing our big day. You could see the passion and excitement and how she was really enjoying the experience as much as we were. From our initial meet to the big day, Alisha was enthusiastic and flexible, ensuring she delivered exactly what we wanted and she felt much more like a friend then the corporate feel we had received from other vendors. The end product was outstanding, with dozens and dozens of amazing photos that we will cherish forever. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer, thank you so much Alisha.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Before you hire a photographer, know what type of photos you want. While most professional photographers can photograph in a number of styles (i.e. candid v. posed, formal v. informal, traditional v. documentary---we can help you define any of those if you want to know more) they probably have a style preference. If you go with a photographer whose personal preference matches what you're looking for, you will get a higher quality finished product and be happier with the session.
