What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is not "one size fits all" pricing for bookkeeping and compliance work. I work with my clients to find the best solution for them. Some businesses are seasonal and they need expenses to work into that schedule, it is important to understand the needs of your clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My ideal process would be an initial phone interview, followed up with an engagement letter and a streamlined process for managing the account. Additionally, I prefer occasional check-ins to keep up-to-date and current with any compliance needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting. Which led to a career in public accounting before transitioning to corporate accounting and then into opening my own business. The main projects I have worked focused on upgrading legacy accounting systems, large tax clients, and every variety of general accounting.
