Introduction

I am currently in my 32nd year of Drafting using AutoCAD software and 21st year of self-employment. Customers find me by word of mouth and small advertising like this site. I have many returning customers including one customer who uses my service monthly for the last 12 years. I have always enjoyed drawing and architecture. Knowing that every person needing drafting services has different ideas from the last project. I enjoy helping people achieve one of their dreams in designing a new home or remodeling an existing home the way they want it.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is different so every quote is different. All projects require a meeting to accurately estimate my costs of the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First step, introductions with a face-to-face meeting. Then the go over the scope of work required and how much down payment is needed to start the project. I will then draft plans and elevations of the work to be finished and send via email to the customer for approval. Changes will be made after the customer send replies with feedback or if there are no changes, I will complete the project. Remainder of payment is due at the end of the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Architectural Degree from Ferris State University. for the past 30 years I've studied space planning and design to help with my architectural skills.
