Introduction: My music lessons differ from the standard approach of buying books 1,2,3 and meticulously learning to sight read while simultaneously getting familiar with your instrument. Instead, your lessons will be custom tailored to the music you enjoy, and you will get comfortable playing your instrument before there is any sight reading. This is not only more fun, it is also more intuitive and practical. The best part of my job is watching students grow and develop their skills. I also enjoy jamming along with my students during their lessons.

Travis is an excellent musician and instructor. I was amazed how fast he could learn a song by ear. I would bring in new music to every lesson and he would figure it out in minutes and show me how to play. He's also just a really friendly guy. Highly recommended.

I took bass guitar lessons from travis for almost a year and had a great experience! He always had new material for me to learn, and was always open to teaching me music that I was interested in. Would recommend!
