Hi! I'm Maria, Owner of MRA Photography. I'm a natural light photographer based in the metro Detroit area. Since having my own kids, my passion is to document the precious moment that go too fast. I'm all about getting the "everyone say cheese" picture, but once we get a few classic ones i like to have the session be family led. I love capturing the unexpected. Your daughter holding your hand moving to the next spot, or your son wrestling with dad on the blanket, to your toddler running towards you to give you a hug. That is my passion, my focus. Delivering you a gallery that will remind you of your family, your personalities, your love for each other. Watching families grow through maternity, newborn, milestone, to updated family portraits has a special place in my heart.

Maria was the sweetest photographer and did a great job capturing pictures of our family! She had so many cute pose ideas and found several beautiful backgrounds at one location. Our kids were 0-3 at the time, and I honestly wasn’t sure how professional pictures would go. But it was a breeze! Maria was very friendly and patient with them. She made sure we got lots of shots with all of the kids and combo pics, it was so fun! I also love how Maria’s edited pictures turned out. She enhances the colors and fixes blemishes while still keeping the true image. I’ve used photographers before who over-edit so bad, it doesn’t look real anymore. She does everything so well. We were very satisfied and would recommend Maria to anyone! :)

Maria was amazing to work with! Not only did she take beautiful photos of my engagement and wedding but she was easy to work with. She worked with us to meet all of our needs from hiding in the woods for the proposal to getting all the small details we wanted at the wedding. Maria noticed all the small details and worked to have the best quality when our other photographers turned a blind eye. Lastly, Maria answered all our questions in a timely manner and got us our photos quicker than we expected! We will definitely be using her skills in the future for family photos!!
