The job was done poorly all the way through. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REMODELING NEEDS. We needed a closet to be framed and dry walled and dry wall repair done in the kitchen. Also, cabinets set in the kitchen. Everything that was done except for a portion of the dry wall needed to be redone by another company. If I could post pictures of the work to demonstrate the poor craftsmanship and quality I would, but please choose a different company for your remodeling needs. They originally quoted $1200 and sent an invoice (without fixing their work) for over $3200. Very poor business practices - never called me back to discuss any of the work and any of our concerns. This company should be ashamed and they definitely prey on people to bait and switch and do not look at the long term possibilities of future work. Shame on you building impressions.
Building Impressions Unlimited LLC's reply
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your constructive criticism to help grow and better our business. Your project estimate was bided on a time and material basis which was stated on the estimate that you signed. A time and material project is billed out for the labor man hours and material used to complete the project. The definition of a bait and switch is: “ Bait and switch” deals with a disingenuous advertisement. There needs to be an advertisement for the bait in order for there to be a “bait and switch.” We should have done a better job of communicating on your project when you reached the estimated amount and had the proper paperwork signed so there was a clear understanding of the charges that were being incurred as the project progressed. We realize there were mistakes made and that is why the final amount due from you was substantially lower than the project cost us.

The project has taken just over 4 months and isn't even close to being done. I've sent countless emails and have had several phone conversations with them to no avail. The rotting wood that was supposed to be fixed a month ago is still there with the panels falling off. The build is going backwards because the builders didn't fix the roof when they should have and my emails and conversations about it were ignored. Now they're doing more work than what would have been needed to get it fixed. For the last two months people were only coming out once, maybe twice, a week for two hours or so and then I would go sometimes 8 days before seeing anyone else come out. I just want this project finished and finished correctly. I'm afraid that it won't be done right and may not ever get finished.
