Owner of Empire Painting Professionals, Tyler Munroe, began his career in the field of dentistry, working as a registered dental assistant and surgical assistant in full mouth reconstructive dentistry. He was provided the opportunities to enter a business assistant roles during which he improved office protocols and created systems to increase production while providing premier customer service and patient care.
Dentistry trained his eye for highly detailed work and provided an opportunity to develop outstanding customer service practices. After 8 years of an evolving career in dentistry, Munroe obtained a Bachelors Degree in Bio-Medical Science (Pre-Med/Pre-Dental) at Grand Valley State University.
He worked his way through college by painting residential homes in the Grand Rapids neighborhood of Heritage Hill and East Grand Rapids. During this time, Munroe gained experience painting a wide variety of large historic homes. Munroe's skill set includes a decade of painting experience, an eye for detail (attributed to his time in dentistry), confidence working on large and intricate projects (due to his painting/wood restoration experience) as well as a deep understanding of the chemistry and bonding processes of painting products.
