FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You do not need a doctors prescription to start physical therapy. We accept and bill through most medical insurance plans, however, we do have a private pay fee schedule if you prefer not to use your insurance. That will be $60/ visit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
On your first visit, you will be welcomed and asked to fill out a few forms unless you have already downloaded the forms from our website. Once the clerical information is completed and your insurance card (s) are copied, your physical therapist will invite you in and will begin to do a complete history for the injury/ dysfunction / physical issue that you are seeking treatment. Once the history is finished, the therapist will perform some tests to determine the extent of the injury/dysfunction which will also help them decide on a treatment program. Finally the treatment program will be started to help get you on your way to healing. The evaluation and treatment will be about one hour to 1 1/2 hour depending on severity of the case..
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All our physical therapist are have Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy and licensed through the state of Michigan, as well as our PTA's which have an Associates in Applied Science in Physical Therapy and licensed through the state of Michigan.
