- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
• Transparent base rates with clear line items for design, decor rental, delivery, setup, and teardown. • Custom quotes - every event is unique and we price to scope so you only pay for what you need. • Discounts and packages - seasonal discounts for weekday events, bundled savings when you book full-service design + rentals, loyalty discounts for returning clients. • Fees to expect - travel, delivery, and labor fees based on distance and complexity, rush fees for last-minute requests, sales tax where applicable. • Payment terms - non-refundable deposit/retainer (transferable) to secure your date, milestone or staged payments for larger projects, and the final balance due one week before the event day. • Budget help - if you don’t yet have budget details, we’ll create three tiered options (Essentials, Elevated, Signature) so you can see tradeoffs and pick what fits.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Inquiry and discovery Quick intake to capture date, venue, guest count, style, and budget. 2. Design proposal Mood board, initial concept, and a transparent estimate delivered promptly. 3. Refinement and approval One or two rounds of revisions to finalize colors, floorplan, and rental list, then contract and deposit. 4. Execution planning Vendor coordination and a logistics timeline 2–4 weeks before the event. 5. Setup and event day Professional install, on-site styling, and teardown per the agreed schedule. 6. Follow-up Post-event check-in and feedback. We keep communication clear and proactive so you always know what’s next.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Relevant training in event design, floral mechanics, and styling through formal courses and hands-on workshops in lighting, draping, and floral construction. We have ongoing learning at trade shows and vendor trainings to stay current with trends and safety best practices. We also, work with a mentor who has been an event planning for over 10 years to help guide us.
