Absolutely the most fantastic group! I can’t say enough about how they bend over backward to help people stuck in a jam. Last minute and my last ditch effort was to ask if they were will to help me out tonight without any notice and they came through for me. Wonderful group and if I ever move again or know anyone who’s moving will only recommend this company! Thank you for everything!

After living in the same place for 10 years, we recently moved and decided to use a moving company for the first time. Since we love supporting local businesses, we found Hookstra Moving Company online and were impressed right from the start. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating with our constantly changing schedule. On moving day, the team arrived on time and worked tirelessly for 13 hours to get everything moved. We were amazed by their efficiency and energy, especially given the long hours—they hardly took a break (just a quick 15-minute lunch!) and powered through the entire day. Maybe the Red Bull helped, but their dedication was clear regardless! The crew was respectful, careful with all of our belongings, and went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Everyone was friendly, polite, and professional throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, one of our TVs was damaged during the move. We didn’t discover it until three weeks later, but when I called Nate to let him know, he immediately took responsibility and replaced it without hesitation. That level of customer service really stood out. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our first time using movers. It was a privilege to support a local company like Hookstra, and we would happily recommend them to anyone. If we ever move again, they’ll be first call!

I was coming from out of state to buy a very large heavy television from the early 2000’s. Over 300 pounds and awkward to carry. I need it loaded into my pickup from the seller’s garage. Nathaniel and his team handled it like it was no effort whatsoever. They also wrapped it in blankets and plastic wrap to protect it during transport. Top-notch moving company that I would happily do business with again. 5-stars

My Husband and I couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Hoekstra’s Moving Company! From start to finish it was a very smooth process. The staff that helped us that day went above and beyond! Very professional, kind, friendly, and caring. We would recommend to anyone in need of a moving company!

Hoekstra moving did an amazing job! They reached out, gave me the quote and then when it came to the move I already moved a lot of my stuff since I needed help with the furniture! They moved multiple items from a 1st floor apartment to a 3rd floor apartment! Chris and Nick worked great as a team and both were very personable! I had some good conversations as they took care of everything!If you cant bribe your friends with pizza and beer any more you should be booking with Hoekstra Moving Company! (But lets be honest.. just let the professionals do it)
