What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are lead abatement certified. State of MI requires refresher courses every 3 years to be licensed. Huge fan of hgtv. Attend regular builder workshops to keep up on green materials / tools/ new fields of trade to offer more options to homeowners.
What types of customers have you worked with?
kitchens, baths, decks, roofs, basement remodels. Many appliance installs. Flooring, additions, windows, and doors.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Know your project and a budget. Dont do a project to " just get it done", do it once. Can't afford exactly what you want ? wait a month and do it right. Many new people I meet say the same thing, I wish I had done it right the first time. Be vocal, I am not a mind reader. Hire licensed/ insured people. Feel comfortable and never give anyone money before mat/ labor are provided.
