I am sometimes known to get a little bit emotional; I will try to keep this short and sweet. Thank you, Corey -- from the apex of my heart. I've really never dealt with lawyers before up until the last couple of weeks. Boy oh boy was I shell-shocked when I started calling around and was faced with the hard truth that when it came to my case, I was the girl who would be the last teammate picked for the soccer teams. I remember telling a friend, "I guess a lawyer has to pick me just as much as I have to pick them." I'm simply a girl here in this state alone trying to save her home. I've broken no laws; I've been compliant with rules and paid rent on time since 2018. last Monday, I was served with a notice to quit letter stating that I had 30 days to be out. I've been month-to-month since 2019. Lawyers told me that they weren't familiar with mobile home tenant law. Several lawyers simply said that that's exactly what month-to-month is. I had one lawyer bring me to tears; he called me "argumentative" when I mentioned the Michigan mobile home commission act that protected mobile home tenants from eviction without just cause and from coercion to purchase. He stated that no lawyer would take my case because of a "Google search." I didn't realize that trying to do my own research to be as prepared as I could be to not lose my home was a problem. He left me feeling defeated and inadequate. When I got in touch with Corey, he listened. As a hospice nurse I think that's one of the key things… listening. Corey was transparent; he was open and honest. He discussed options with me. He also let me know what he thought were credible arguments and which ones were not. Long story short he was patient and responsive and kind. He sent a letter to my leasing office's law group for me that detailed the facts that I had found regarding Michigan statutes that protect mobile home tenants and more. Me citing those statutes to Corey did not make him feel like I was being argumentative. Corey, you saved my home… You saved my peace. I am forever grateful; words simply just won't do. This is an early Christmas Present that, up until last Monday, I didn't even wish for.
This is the type of lawyer… scratch that… this is the type of human being you need on your side. Highly recommend. God bless.

I had the opportunity to work with Mr. Carpenter on a personal matter, and I truly appreciate the professionalism and care he demonstrated throughout the entire process. From our first conversation, he was attentive, empathetic, and genuinely took the time to listen and understand my concerns. He made me feel heard and supported during what could have been a very stressful situation.
His services were reasonably priced, and the turnaround time was impressively efficient. Everything was handled smoothly and in a timely manner without sacrificing quality.
I highly recommend Mr. Carpenter for his expertise, professionalism, and dedication to his clients. He provides excellent service and delivers results with integrity and care.
