Tracie Morris Bio Hello, I am Tracie and I have a wedding addiction and love working exclusively with professional couples. I know your busy working and/or going to school so you don’t have much time to figure out the world of wedding planning. Believe me when I tell you it is a journey full of twists and turns that will make your head spin! The good news is you don’t have to be alone when you chose to work with You’re The Bride! The relief we bring you when we join forces will have you wishing you would have contacted us sooner. I am a Certified Wedding Planner by Weddings Beautiful Worldwide since 1999 so I am armed with nearly two decades of wedding planning experience. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. I am honored that my work has been featured locally and nationwide. I have also worked as a Catering Sales Manager so I know the requirements of on and off-premise weddings and the plethora of details it takes to orchestrate them. I have planned and designed weddings in totally blank raw spaces which is a fun challenge that I enjoy! When you book with us I will be asking you a ton of questions to get to know you, your style and likes. I thought it was only fair to share a little bit about me because we are going to be BFF’s! I love trivia, scrabble, movies, travel (especially Carnival Cruises), Greek salads with extra feta, Arnold Palmers, ice cream, pink peonies and of course all things weddings! When I have time I also indulge in episodes of ”Say Yes to The Dress”, “Four Weddings”, “My Fair Wedding”, “Shark Tank”, “Criminal Minds”, “Big Bang Theory” and “Days of Our Lives”. Needless to say my DVR is always full and I am probably just about out of space now! Tracie and her staff at You're the Bride were amazing throughout every step of the wedding planning process (and it is a process). I did not realize at first how much help we needed planning our wedding. A friend suggested that we hire a wedding planner and I am so grateful that we did. Tracie and her staff made it very easy for us and we were able to actually enjoy planning every detail. Our wedding day was a breeze because they took care of EVERYTHING! I would highly recommend utilizing this team and all the services they provide to help the bride, groom, and their families be able to enjoy every moment of their special day. A big THANK YOU to You’re the Bride for making our wedding incredible from beginning to end! (I keep hearing from people that it was the best wedding they have ever been to, I would agree!) Who needs a wedding planner? What a waste of my budget!! Is this what you think? It's exactly what I thought. Until my fiance and I met with Tracie. Here's why. Getting married should be fun. Wedding planning should be fun. Problem: wedding planning is inherently stressful. That stress will jade your attitude towards both the planning and ultimately, the wedding day itself. And here's the worst part. The stress only increases as the time before your wedding day decreases. My fiance and I thought we knew this. We thought we could handle it. So when we met Tracie, we were skeptical. But here's the thing about Tracie, she understands. What do I mean? Right from the first meeting with Tracie, we explained everything we wanted for our day - not even knowing if we would hire her. She understood EXACTLY what we had in mind and was able to to tell us EXACTLY what it would take to get there. Moreover, she was able to tailor a program for EXACTLY what we would need. It quickly became clear that Tracie could help us in more ways than we even realized we needed help. We hired her on the spot. This was the single best wedding-planning decision we made throughout our engagement. Tracie was with us every step of the way. She listened to what we really wanted and worked hard to find vendors who were the right fit for us and the right fit for our budget. She is easily accessible, always responding to emails quickly. She is amazing at logistics. And on the day of the actual wedding, she ensured everything went smoothly. There was no pressure on my fiance. No pressure on me. No pressure on our parents or friends. We could all just enjoy the day. But the best thing about Tracie is that she was personally invested in our wedding and in us as people. We could tell that what mattered to us really mattered to her. And she goes above and beyond to make things happen. For example, my brother has a special dietary need and could not eat cake. So Tracie managed to find a special dessert from Hawaii so that he could eat while everyone else had cake. The dessert was a special request from me to surprise my brother, and Tracie made it happen. It's that kind of personal effort from Tracie that at the end of the day, makes a wedding memorable. Perhaps the best piece of advice I can offer is this: Your wedding day will be better if you hire Tracie than if you don't. So, who needs a wedding planner? Anyone who feels stress about planning. Anyone who knows exactly what they want and needs someone to make it happen. Anyone who doesn't know the first thing about wedding planning. Anyone who doesn't want to burden family and friends. And, anyone who would like to maximize their enjoyment of the entire wedding experience from the engagement until the honeymoon.

Tracie coordinated our "dance party" wedding for 150 at the Jam Handy. Her calm, competent, caring approach made our event perfect. She is extremely good with details and her diligence assured us that everything would be taken care of. She has wonderful contacts and worked seamlessly with our caterer as well. Tracie's own staff is equally good. Do not hesitate to hire Tracie - if she can pull of an event at a venue requiring everything be brought in she can handle a "normal" venue with her eyes closed.

I don't even know where to begin! Tracie was absolutely amazing! I knew what I wanted and Tracie made sure my envisions came to life. She responded to emails, phone calls, and texts right away in a very professional manner. There were countless times that she asked questions that I would never have thought of (how do you want napkins folded, where do you want the uplighting, timeline, etc). As the day drew closer, she made sure all of those small details were in place. She was in constant contact with my vendors, discussing things I was unaware of. On the day of, things went off without a hitch. She never told me there were issues or anything to stress me out....I actually just found out there was a lighting issue at the reception hall (who knew?!). She made sure we stayed on track with the timeline so I wouldn't have to pay my photographer for extra time. She let me relax (the best I could anyway) and enjoy the process of wedding planning and the day of. I would DEFINITELY recommend You're the Bride

We have worked with Tracie at all three of our daughters weddings-two in the Detroit area and the most recent one in western Michigan. For all the weddings, her day of coordination began much earlier on in the planning involving meetings, skype sessions, loads of e-mails, telephone contact as needed and a very detailed questionnaire that was filled in as time went on. Tracie and Kimberly are all about details, customer service, and the bride's vision. Tracie has a lot of experience and is able to offer suggestions, guide, and point out possible problems/alternatives ahead of time. For our most recent wedding, they had four hours to decorate the barn venue and coordinate with the vendors. My daughter and I were able to enjoy the morning getting ready, pictures, make-up,etc. The job was beautifully done!! Tracie organized the processional for the ceremony and during the reception, they both worked in the background and handled issues as they arose. When the reception was over, they made sure all decorative and personal items were packed up and given to the appropriate person. After this long day, they were still smiling and energetic!! Having their help before, during and after the wedding took a big load off the shoulders of the bride and bride's mother. I highly recommend You're The Bride for wedding coordination and stationary wedding products-no doubt about it!! Elaine F
