- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Tax returns are priced at ONE HALF the national average. Bookkeeping is normally billed by a flat fee contract, but can be billed at $49/hour for my assistant or $88/hour for myself. Tax problem resolution can be by flat fee or hourly rate (165). I am one of a handful in the country to soon be awarded the designation Advanced Crypto Tax Expert (ACT-E)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do a minimum of 30 hours per year in continuing education.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had been doing my own tax returns for years, saw a sign for tax school, and thought it would be up my alley. It was. And I have always been a math whiz, so to speak, so accounting was a natural fit.
