Peggy has staged two houses for me--one that I sold and one I currently live in. She is extremely creative and resourceful and her designs are outstanding. She works quickly and her prices are more than reasonable. I just gave her a key and she took care of everything. If I ever move again there is no question that I will use WOW! Factor to stage the house and help arrange my new home.

Peggy is wonderful to work with. I am a realtor and she staged several houses for me. They were beautifully done. I am convinced it helped to sell fast and for good money. She is very professional. Going above and beyond the call of duty. She is a hard worker with fantastic design vision and great execution of it. I recommend her also for Interior redesign. Recommended her to my clients and they were happy with her and her work.. MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION FOR HER AND ALL HER WORK. I WORKED WITH HER FOR OVER 2 YEARS NOW. I AM LOOKING FORWARD WORKING WITH HER AGAIN SOON ON MY UPCOMING PROJECT.

About this pro

I love it when my clients stand back and view the finished "product" in absolute awe. Many have questioned why they are selling their homes now that they look so great! And I love it even more when the properties sell and sell fast!

    Q & A

    • How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been staging homes long before the term "home staging" came to the forefront. It just always made sense to me that if you want to sell your house, you need to be sure that it shows at its best. Just as when you sell your car you remove the dirt, debris, trash, McDonald's bags, etc., so why wouldn't you do the same for your one of your largest assets, your home?! I like to tell my clients, "We are going to remove the "McDonald's bags" from your home and give it a good "wash and wax" then and only then can we feel confident that we are offering an irresistible "product," one that will stand apart from all the other products on the Real Estate shelf."
    • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
It was early in the morning and she and I were the first customers in the local Burlington Coat Factory. I could not help but over hear her cell phone conversation with her Realtor as she was quite upset about how her home had been stagnating on the market with no offers for 5 years! After she finished her call, I cautiously approached her while apologizing for "eaves dropping." I began to share with her how staging her home would help get it sold. She was very interested but in a hurry, so she took one of my business cards as she left the store and told me she would call me later. I was pleasantly surprised when later that evening, she did just that! Long story short, I got the job and staged her home. The rest is history as they say but I wanted to share with you what she had to say about home staging and the overall experience. I believe she said it best when she wrote the following: Dear Realtor or Home Owner: I had my home on and off the market for five years. It was a horrible experience in such a tough seller's market. Perspective buyers that viewed the house either thought it was priced too high; needed too much work; or didn't like the floor plan. I loved my house; after all, I bought it! Why couldn't others see its beauty and potential? Peggy Harrington staged my house just before Father's Day 2012. Our first open house after the staging was actually scheduled for that holiday. I was amazed -- we had two offers that day!! But we decided to keep the house available for future showings while working through the purchase agreement. And as it turned out, we had additional opportunities to sell the home during that time, which gave me further confidence to continue the purchase agreement negotiations. Peggy's staging brought interest and warmth into each room, which helped buyers imagine their family living in that space. After staging, Peggy stopped by the house periodically to make sure it remained presentable. She kept all of the rooms looking fresh after each perspective buyer walked through. When considering how much it costs to have a house lingering on the market, month after month waiting for a purchase, I realize now it would have been silly not to have had Wow! Factor Real Estate Staging assist me in the sale. I only wish I had found Peggy sooner! I couldn't be more enthusiastic about giving WOW! Factor Real Estate Staging and Peggy Harrington this letter of reference. I think home sellers would be crazy not to use this wonderful service! Sincerely, Denise T. Fenton, MI

If you think it's expensive to hire a professional like me, just wait until you hire an amateur! Staging your home for sale is an investment in getting it sold. Staging your home for sale is ALWAYS less than a price reduction, and currently yields an R.O.I. of 586%!
