- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Online notarization fees depend on how many people will be signing. More than one person in a different location would be more. If signers are all in one location, the fee wouldn't be as much.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Call the signer, and explain the process. If acceptable, the signer would email me the document(s). I would send them a link to join the zoom session, they would give consent to sign electronically, signer would upload a photo ID, answer a few questions for authentication and sign the document. Once the document is signed and notarized by me, the document can be downloaded.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm registered with the State of Michigan as a Remote Online Notary and certified in the platform I use (Signix). I also follow all industry standards and keep up with all the recent changes.
