- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unlike most law firms, Ad Hoc Legal Services typically does not charge by the hour for services. Most attorneys in our market charges hourly rates ranging from $150 to $500 and they will bill you every tenth of an hour. That means you are billed every six minutes. With an hourly billing system you never know how much you will be charged and you are afraid to call your attorney with a question because it will add to your bill. At Ad Hoc Legal Services we typically use a flat fee billing system whenever possible. That means you will know exactly what your final bill will be before we start working on your project. More importantly, you can call with questions without fear of being billed for the call.
