- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For cello lessons, I charge $30 for 30 minutes, $45 for 45 minutes, and $60 for 60 minutes! For events, I do not charge for any preparation work. All phone conversations, meetings, and recordings are free of charge. The hourly charge is only for the event that I am performing and if there are any rehearsals to attend.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For lessons, we would start with a phone call to discuss your cello background and overall goals. I would also outline my process for lessons that will suit your needs, and then schedule a lesson at your convenience! For events, first we would speak over the phone to discuss your event's needs! I would offer some suggestions for a repertoire (if needed), and send you some draft audio recording samples and a quote. Upon your written confirmation for hire, we would have continued communication to discuss your event as needed.
