When our 24-year-old decks needed to be replaced I was nervous about all the horror stories I had heard of contractors doing poor work or not even finishing the work. We highly recommend Archadeck of GR for your home improvement projects. Ben and the crew were fantastic to work with for our new deck and screened-in porch. The first best thing is there is no hard-sell sales pitch like there is with some other companies... no pressured "sign today and receive an extra discount" gimmick. It's a laid back conversation about your dreams for your home. Then, the price was lower than our two other quotes. As things got moving along, Ben was open to questions and concerns. When I bugged him with a peppering of emails, he simply said, "No problem, it's all part of the process :)" The project dragged on a bit (due to weather), but now that it is finished, we simply couldn't be happier with the finished product. We recently worked with Archadeck of Grand Rapids to replace our treated lumber deck boards with beautiful TimberTech decking and sleek black aluminum railings. The transformation has been incredible—our deck now has a much more elegant, modern look, and the upgrade to composite materials means we can enjoy it for years to come without the hassle of maintenance.
Ben was fantastic to work with—very professional and approachable. He came onsite to walk us through all the TimberTech options, from different lines to color choices, which made the decision process smooth and informed. His guidance really helped us land on a combination that looks great and complements our home.
Even better, the crew completed the work over the winter, so we were able to enjoy our new outdoor space as soon as the weather turned nice this season. Like with any project, there were a few punch-list items to wrap up, but Archadeck was responsive and took care of everything quickly and professionally.
