I am very happy with my decision to hire Mike Kennedy for finishing my basement. Mike has done excellent work given the time restriction we had (sharp 1 week). He completed the work on time with best effort. He has built the frames, drywall, trims, completed basement roof painting with industrial black finish, painted drywall and trim, laid down epoxy floor for us. Recommend Mike to anyone who is looking to finish their basement in a budget. His service offers the best value for the cost.

Painted laundry room with cabinets, master bedroom with accent wall, hallway 2 story with foyer, halfbath and a guest room plus did multiple drywall fixes and installs including door with frame. Great variety of colors to choose from, very flexible, polite and professional attitudes! Great pricing and time completion!

After contacting perhaps over a dozen painters in the metro Detroit area, I found Mike Kennedy’s quote to be just right. His price offers both labor work and paint (he doesn’t have a limit in terms of the number of paints you choose)! Although I was skeptical at first, Mike was able to complete painting three average size bedrooms, on his own, in approximately eight hours. He was very professional and did his best in making sure I was satisfied.
I experienced two issues with the service. First, Mike cleaned the paint rollers in my basement sink. I had new appliances inside-washer and dryer-and they were splattered with some paint. In addition, I placed some cardboard on the concrete basement floor to protect it from the paint. Unfortunately, some paint spilled over and seeped through the cardboard. It took me a good hour to clean up the mess after Mike left (I could not get all the paint off the floor). I reported this to Mike and he was very apologetic and offered to clean up. I would recommend that the location that the paint rollers/brushes are being cleaned is well lit and use of heavy duty cardboard/material to cover surfaces/appliances/furniture.
Overall, I appreciated Mike’s professional service and would definitely recommend him!

We hired Mike to paint our house and stain the stairs and Handrail.
Mike gave us very good price. He always reported to work on time. He was very courteous and did excellent job.
He helped us in choosing the color and stains. He never tried to cut corners and paid attention to details .
Overall I am very happy with his work and rate him 10 on a scale of 10

Our pricing has NO HIDDEN FEES. We include all products, prep, labor and clean-up in your estimate. We are always considered to be very fair and affordable. We can provide a complete breakdown of where every dime of your hard earned money will be utilized.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set up an appointment that works with your schedule, we discuss your project in detail and give you a free estimate. If it is decided that you want to move forward with using us for your services, we schedule a start date, go over color choices and any other details. We also offer free color consultation.
